Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer | London Festival guide and coverage

March 10th, 2009

Must-read guide for the inaugural two-week London Festival. Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer is a ‘magic circle’ law firm with 28 offices across the globe. In February 2009, the firm’s largest office held its first London Festival – an intensive two-week knowledge-sharing event designed to encourage people to learn more about the work of others in the firm.

Engage was asked to write, design and produce an in-depth guide to the Festival, covering 100 individual sessions run by senior management, business services staff and associates, as well as Fringe events and evening panel debates. A team comprising writers, editors, a photographer, designers and an account director came together and worked over the course of less than a week to produce this stunning guide to the Festival from scratch.

Working closely with the client team to gather and interpret some of the more complex material, we developed a vibrant, sophisticated design, with simply written copy for all to digest easily. During the Festival, the guide acted as a focus point for 2,000 London employees, providing them with all the ‘need to know’ information about the two weeks and driving them to the intranet to sign up for the learning sessions.
