Care magazine: concept, design and editorial

For SSC’s members’ magazine we developed a new name and brand, reflecting a softer and more progressive approach to communications, as well as defining a ‘handbag’ concept for the title; creating a friendly and portable publication that was attractive and easy to navigate.

We were also invited to write each issue, taking responsibility for all editorial content as well as for design, print and distribution.

BUPA

Engaging with hospital consultants over proposed service changes

BUPA needed to reorganise their services so that operations and other procedures could be offered at a price commensurate with NHS rates.

Engage worked with BUPA Hospitals and devised an approach for engaging effectively with consultants around the country as part of their strategy to enhance the opportunity to win NHS contract work.

Consultants are independent practitioners free to choose which hospital network to take their business to. BUPA Hospitals needed to work with them to create a partnership whereby they would be ready to accept new practices and procedures as well as a revised fee structure to enable this new business stream to be viable.

We spoke with a number of leading consultants about their relationship with BUPA Hospitals and worked with the BUPA Hospitals team to devise a communication and engagement approach that explained the charges to consultants and worked with them to agree a route for enhancing the business potential of both the hospital group and the consultants.

Development of a global employee engagement strategy

Engaging employees is a challenge. We helped a global pharmaceutical manufacturer create real momentum behind the implementation of their new strategy.

Consultation and analysis led to a detailed engagement plan with a wide range of solutions from interactive meetings to printed and digital media.
